“Agreement” means all terms and conditions stated in this document, including any addendum or additional materials provided at the time of rental.
“You” or “Your” refers to the renter named in this Agreement, any person signing this Agreement, any authorized driver, and any person or organization responsible for payment under the renter’s instruction. All persons referred to as “you” are jointly and severally responsible under this Agreement.
“We,” “Our,” or “Us” refers to the Rental Company providing the vehicle.
“Authorized Driver” means the renter and any additional driver approved by us, holding a valid driving license recognized in Malaysia, and meeting the minimum age requirement of 21 years for cars and 18 years for motorcycles, unless otherwise required by law.
“Vehicle” means the car or motorcycle identified in this Agreement, including all accessories, tools, equipment, keys, tires, and related documents provided with the vehicle.
“Damage” means any loss or damage to the vehicle, including collision, accident, misuse, negligence, or vandalism.
“Loss of Use” means the rental charges incurred for the period the vehicle is unavailable for rental due to damage or repair.
This Agreement constitutes a contract for the rental of the Vehicle.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that all vehicles are maintained in good working condition. However, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the vehicle’s suitability for any specific purpose.
We reserve the right to repossess the Vehicle at the renter’s expense without prior notice if:
You agree to return the Vehicle to the agreed location on the specified date and time in the same condition as when received, except for normal wear and tear.
You are responsible for:
Late returns may result in additional rental charges.
You are responsible for all damage to or loss of the Vehicle during the rental period, including:
This responsibility applies regardless of fault, unless limited by applicable Malaysian law.
All accidents, theft, or incidents must be reported immediately to:
Failure to report incidents may result in full liability for damages.
All vehicles are covered by basic insurance in accordance with Malaysian road regulations.
However, the renter remains responsible for:
Insurance coverage may be void if:
Optional insurance upgrades may be available upon request.
A refundable security deposit is required at the start of the rental period.
We reserve the right to use the deposit to cover:
Any remaining balance will be refunded after vehicle inspection.
If you wish to extend the rental period, you must inform us before the scheduled return time.
Extensions are subject to vehicle availability and payment confirmation.
If you breach any terms of this Agreement, you will be responsible for all resulting costs, damages, or losses incurred by the Rental Company.
The following actions are strictly prohibited. If any of these occur, insurance coverage and protection will be voided:
a) Driving by an unauthorized driver
b) Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or intoxicating substances
c) Reckless or dangerous driving
d) Using the vehicle for illegal activities
e) Carrying more passengers than seat capacity
f) Using the vehicle for racing or competitions
g) Using the vehicle for commercial hire or delivery services without approval
h) Driving off-road or on unsuitable terrain
i) Towing another vehicle or object without permission
j) Providing false information during booking
k) Taking the vehicle outside Langkawi Island without written permission
l) Leaving the vehicle unattended without securing doors or removing keys
Vehicles are provided on a “Same-to-Same” fuel basis.
The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup.
Failure to do so will result in fuel charges.
This Agreement represents the entire understanding between the renter and the Rental Company.
If any part of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
All disputes shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.
